What donor car has a narrow width twin core radiator?

I need to find a good radiator with a max width of 450mm and needs to be twin core and would prefer alloy.

Not side tanks.

Can anyone suggest a car that might have what I'm looking for?

Only lead I've got is Civic Type-R's but they are pretty hard to come by and probably a bit too small.

nah they dont. EK civics have good radiators and possibly eg's powered by a B16, not just the type r's.

*edit*Possibly some rovers may have a similar radiator as half of them are just hondas anyway. Try Pick a Part

Skyline GTR32's are twin core but have plastic tanks. You can get them pretty cheap nowadays and not many people realise they are different to a GTS-t

So they are narrow are they? If they are around 450mm wide then that would be perfect!

I called them this morning and the guy said best to get one made. And said roughly $500. Im sure I can find something from a factory car to suit. If not I'll have to bite the bullet.

They do radiators for civics etc off the shelf.

So maybe ask them for a civic radiator for example.

If you dont find on and you decide to get one made, give me a pm, and I'll see what I can do. We get a good price through Petone Radiators.

I also know a good engineer who I could get to make you a custom one.

Nah ae92, can cut down the intercooler piping heaps but will need a different narrower radiator.

EDIT: I used a Honda Legend Radiator in the ae86 btw.

the civic ones ya have to be careful with. some of them are twin core and some are only single, yet they both appear to be the same physical size. Ripco do brand new radiators too. fuct if i know what the prices are like though. only ever looked at them at staff price lol

I think late nineties mazda demios had quite narrow alloy radiators..pretty sure they were twincore too...

Hey man, still got it but have a different idea for shortening the intercooler piping quite a bit but wouldn't work with the rx one. Might still use it..will see. Sorry didn't stop the other day lol was in a hurry...im not a c**t...really.

i used a skyline radiator in my 82 starlet had to cut 10mm out to fit the 3" piping past it, i am unsure which skyline it is out of but it's a twin core metal end tanks

a mate used a SIR integ core in his starlet to clear the turbo. works just fine
