Problem is now fixed. Turned out it was something to do with the brake disc....

New problem on the same side. Seems to me like the supension is creaking when driving at slow speeds and hard lock turning at slow speeds. Through car park etc .... hear nothing when driving faster. I figured it might be the balancing weight rubbing but its not that. Any thoughts on how and what to check?

by any chance, the sound isnt a tinny plastic scraping noise thats actually comming from the back?

Ive just had to 're-schape' some of the rear wheel, inner guards as they have been just hitting the wheel! (lowered + 17" wheels are my poblems), and the rub was just before the top edge of the bumper

CV? My fathers' car made an odd grinding-type noise when turning right too, but it was at lower speeds, like over 50km/h, turned out the CV was absolutely buggered. Had been clicking a wee bit beforehand, but I'd had much worse before.

It can't be the CV actually. When it orginally got fixed the brake disc was machined and it fixed the problem but a week later it came back. Really weird
