Whats the deal with the new drift track being built in Brooklyn, does anyone know where abouts it is, what road itrs down? or when it will be finished?

haha, theres a licence test involved in order to be able to drive on it, that would rule out most of the sidways wearing hat brigade that own those sorts of cars

On a side note its good to finally see a purpose built area for them to do it in, hopefully this will mean less stupid driving on the roads

Last weekend, My street
Some grubby Skyline POS leaving marks through the intersection 100m away at a ridiculous hour of the morning.

sum1 wont so keen to do skids after i was waiting out on the road with my scaffold pole strong arm on sunday you hear them from the first speedbump, and have 2 speedbumps to be outside waiting for them

Speaking of the burn-out type, our street has already collected quite a few more.. and my guess would be the new people who have moved in just a wee way down who have in their drive reguarly a green GT starlet, Yellow/Black WRX, white WRX, multiple vans/utes and anything else that comes their way

Assuming we get 35 cars at a sealed Autocross, with a $500 hire charge, and the clubsport participation levy of $6 per entry then we'd have to charge $30 per car to ensure a safe margin in the event of a low turnout of about 20 cars (which happens sometimes).

That is a number I believe that people will live with, considering the fuel prices and close location.

Costs - $500 for 8am-12pm , 8am-5pm will be $1000

That is the price the SNZ club is paying to use the venue. Can assume that is the hireage fee.

Oh ok, so $1000 into 35 entries = $34 each including levy. Or $56 each if we only got 20 entries. Would definitely have to be an all day event to attract people.
