looking at s/c aw11, advice?

Hey guys, i just spotted a s/c aw11 in my town, its got abit of rust (like usual) that will need to be cutout just above the right hand left wheel arch.

it has no wof and hasnt been regd since 2005.

any comments will help.

umm you are willing to try to re-comply a 20 year old car?
Unless its dirt cheap and is otherwise good nick I would be very carefully...

ok, its $1500 aiwi, ill offer them $800, see if they bite.
if the body is still unrecoverable, i could still use the engine & other parts to put into a differnt project

Considering the engines usually go for $2k+, I'd say thats alright.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

yeah i was thinking that, it seems reasonably tidy. going to get a mechanic to look at it tonight
