the 2jzge here is not in a supra chassis , its in a gita/altezza , which is significantly lighter than the lardass supra body.
the 3L has more power and torque than any other engine available on that platform, and at 1350ish kg with the 135-145-ish kw atw that the engine makes they are a pretty under rated alternative.
I for one would prefer it over the caldina GTT, and you'll probly find if you do the maths the power to weight ratios are very similar.
1 year ago when we were looking, the gita were sitting at around 25-30k, unsure of pricing now , tho i would expect to be able to find a nice one in the low 20's.
