Damn right. MkII Supra's rock.

Will attempt to get some pics of my mates fleet of them out at his place. One of them is going to end up rather spectacular 8)[/quote]

nice, where abouts is that? i was talking to a guy on oldschool a whiles back that had a couple of them.

Ill have to talk to Main_factory as he has 2 or 3 of them as well.

David will chime in soon with his fleet of p types.

There must be more than i thought still around. i wonder if there are more than there are 86s

are you not staying in nz?

Ill eventually go back ..

got a few things to achieve while over here first - so it will be a year or two at least - then ill pack up the group A and ship it home , and start using the supra again as my daily ..

It'll most likely cop a 1uzfe conversion on my return

Ha ha ha - just call me Commodore David! Yes; three '85 p types, all 2.8, auto and lsd. The daily driver (every day is 90kms) has a modded 5m. One of the red ones is being fitted (very slowly) with a 7M-GE but will remain auto.
And....

I lilke the way you think. I'm going that way too. I bought a set of mounts from one of your countrymen, Peewee. Very nice workmanship in them.

yup - peewee is a champ ..

ill most likely get the behhousiung + such here as its easier to get them in nz if i go manual , a set of peewee's mounts , skyline r33 brakes + 5 stud converson so i can use common rims.

i even like the idea of keeping it auto , just for cruising, seeing mt greoup a 205 is going to be the speedy car

I would have thought the bellhousing would have been cheaper through CRS. But, as you say, auto may be the way to go; a friend of mine (and Matt's) has that supercharged Lexus powered Mk II and he manuallly shifts the auto. It handles the power and feels really good and snappy in the shifts ..... :)

He was supposed to me sending me the last set from the first batch, but he's said he will get some more made due to demand. I think they're about $156AUD shipped here, but I'm sure one of the others will tell you the actual cost. Read more here:
