Needs to be non turbo

not too fussed if its fwd or 4wd.

how big are the petrol tanks? rough fuel economy?

anythings to look out for?

Im trying to find a gt (beams engine) one for them. Looking at spending up to $10k at this stage.

got my gt over a year ago from toyota, with 2 yr warranty for 13k. its not unthinkable to get one now for 10k, tho it probly wouldnt be with a warranty.

even the beams engines at 191hp are great on gas, considering its a moderately heavy 4wd car. up to 600km on the open road, not so good in town , more like 450-500 .
GT's also cop the same interior and seats etc as the GTT , so its much nicer inside than the lower models.

ours has never missed a beat, we got it at 70XXXkm and its now at 90XXXkm. the belts seem to get a bit loose, not a major tho, and our will be due soon anyway.
i found a couple i test drove had what sounded like a leaky exhaust gasket, which while annoying, could almost be dismissed as normal until i drove a lower km one that didnt seem to have the noise.

if economy is a major concern, and you dont need the little bit extra oopmh for overtaking the standard 3sge or 3sfe model is probly a good option too.

i found them all a bit sluggish off the line with the auto box, i dont think its a power issue, more to do with the gearbox. a little bit irritating if you want to take off quickly. they wind out very nicely from 4500rpm onwards tho. i found even with the gearbox set to power mode that it would change a bit early for me, and if im overtaking i'll tend to hold a gear manually.
