Does anyone know of any Lawyers that also have an interest in motorsport/Cars? (as a hobbie)

Iv taken advise to press ahead by someone versed in consumer law as I have a good case , but as this is going to a higher court other that small claims I will get a Lawyer and would prefur someone involved with cars.

Pm me if you like
Thanks :)

It would be ethical and possibly cheaper to make sure you have told the people involved that you are going down this path - have you?

Yes it was put to said party that this would be the next option.
Said party suggested we meet which I agreed on but I havent heard from said party in over two weeks.

Yeah I wasn't going to take it any further than that - in my opinion that was the most on the fence comment to make.

Probably not the best idea as things then tend to just turn in to a huge mud slinging, I personally dont know, nor do I want to, what went on & is probably best if the parties concerned sort it out themselves, without having 101 others throwing their 2 cents worth in 8) :D

yeah true, I was just interested to know what the basic problem was. Didn't think that too much detail would be given. ie: maybe a mechanic/tuner caused something to fail, etc.

I actually emailed a friend of mine who is an accountant at a lawyers firm, just to check if any of the lawyers have an interest in cars/motorsport etc.

Haven't heard back though.

Cheers bro, that would be good if you could find out some more from your mate :)
At this stage Id rather keep things hush,as I dont want it to work against me come case time, you never know how people can twist stuff round to work against you,and something thats said on a forum could be used as ammo :?

I know a few lawyers who are into cars. But they're not cheap and they'll charge you a hefty sum for your 1st consultation.
Litigation is expensive and often the outcome isn't what you're looking for or expecting.
You have to be sure that the case is worth persuing and won't cost you more than you're likely to get back..

If you want to send me some details by pm I'll be happy to give you what advice I can based on my 25 years in business dealing with consumer law.
It might save you some money.
