Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

has the bonnet height been raised, maybe to accomodate the different engine?
might be what adds to the bulbous front end.
Also I think that the quad exhaust pipes on the same car are done badly and look like garbage.

nah the bottom pic is just shot from a lower angle so the bulge in the bonnet is more pronounced

I agree. Now they look like every other post-2001 sedan. Bland and boring.

Thirded, they look like a half sucked cough lozenge. Like most contemporary sedans.

hmm, definately the bonnet that is the bad bit
look at the height on that puppy!

Image

original looks better, just add the big wheels and the front bumper maybe and then it would be cooler.

Edit: Crap, wrong post. :D

Um... that car just looks heavy due to the wheels being so (seemingly) far down the body of the car (or so much body being above them).

I think they had to raise the bonnet to fit the engine in, i remember reading it in the release details somewhere. The V8 is a talller engine so i guess it makes sense if you cant lower it in anyway. The raw version done by millen in the states that got them thinking about this car was much better, i think it was on an episode of rides. It was nicer looking, but i guess that beasty had a whole heap of expensive trick parts in it to fit the engine lower without raising the hood height. It looked just like an is250/350

Hmm, it looks suspiciously like the Aurion V6 that Toyota Australia is touting as the Camry replacement. Seems like Toyota is trying to make a generic, one size fits all, bodystyle
