A friend of mine recently had their house broken into (today) Among the normal things to steal, jewerly, valuables etc. was a V160, a 6 Speed supra gearbox.

Shes understandably upset, so if anyone sees one come up for sale shortly (in the northland area or wider) could you please contact her on 0211643408 or me on here and let her know when and where you saw it, as hopefully if she pins the person with the box she'll get him for the rest of the stuff they took.

Cheers guys, lets try and nail these $&#$% so it doesn't happen to one of us.

What model supra will it fit? Stealing something like that indicates they were stealing it more for their car or a customers rather than to put it up on trademe. Nevertheless hope you guys catch the bastards and castrate them :cry:

Man there is a V-160 6 speed Supra box for sale on Trademe at the moment and I think its for sale in Auckland..

Will fit anything needing a remote shifter. JZA80/JZX90/JZX100/Z30 etc.
Bit bigger than the R154.

Condolences for the loss, I'll keep my eyes out. I know these boxes aren't exactly easy or cheap to come by.

As a side note any chance of a feel good story about how he got his tein's back? i like reading about scum getting whats coming to them.

made me laugh, though. within 24 hours of theft being reported on here, he had 3 ads on D1NZ regarding shocks that are not common to fit a toyota.

Hah. Aparently poor Baz and his mates are 'marked' now. He is going to beat you up! Gotta love those people that talk it up.

Hopefully the gearbox has the same thing happen!
