Caldina rear badges

Postby Santa'sBoostinSleigh » Mon Mar 19, 2007 2:58 pm

Been thinking about removing the rear badges off my Caldina for a while, and was wondering if anyone knows FOR A FACT if the "Caldina", "GT-T" and "*toyota symbol*" badges are just stuck on, of if they have a pin or similar that goes into the bodywork

ie: if i remove the badges, will there be a hole or not?

not that im aware of
on my ae101 yes the toyota badge has the pins on it, but you cant see them when theres no trim on the boot from memory

and the caldina and gt-t badges are actual badges, not stickers

i dont really wanna take them off and be left with holes

ask Rev if they have any laying around the workshop or on the guys n gals tool boxes, occasionally the mechanics have one or two laying around. If so he could take a quick look at the rear of them & let ya know

I'd put money on the fact that the Toyota badge has pins, but the others don't

I wouldn't however bet a testicle on the matter

I would say the same. GTT badge and caldina badge definitely removable.

I have removed the badges on the left hand side, no pins.

My hatch was dinged inbetween me purchasing it and the twats driving it from the holding pen for me to collect. They did a REAL shit job of fixing and respraying it - even the badges were put back on crooked!

Sweet, would you except removing badges IF

LEVIN was just glue, no actual sticker remaining and

TOYOTA was done in some square font (home made jobbie)

thats what I was faced with on my levin when it came into the country

BZG: Legit reasons are fine. Rust is too :o
