anyone planning on going to pick a part in the next couple of days? If so could someone pick me up an ae92 fuel filler cap, I'm guessing the EE90 ones would also fit?

Just go to a servo, most of them have a bunch of fuel caps under the counter.

They do fit. When we dropped the cap off the EE I borrowed the one out of my AE92 GT while we got another. I think EE80 ones fit too.

I think the hutt motorway has mine

I'll explain:

Last night being the tight ass that I am, I had a 10c/L off voucher for pak n save Petone fuel depot, So I drove there to put gas in , but the place was all bunged up and wouldn't work, so I drove home and stopped off at the self serve Caltex about 2 mins from home, and that place wasn't working either, so I drove up to Johnsonville and filled up at shell, when I got there I realized the cap was not there so figured it must be somewhere in between.

All the while with the gas from driving between the 3 it would've cost me 20c/L extra

Those petrol voucher things are not worth much, all the rich devonport people come and spend $150 filling up their X5 with 98 then come in to pay and have to run back to the car to get their 4c/L thingo to save themselves about $2.00. The 10c/L ones are good though, especially on diesel.

It is because of people like this that we never have any to give back to the people who genuinely lost them at our station

The caps are very universal though, you could probably grab one off a mazda.

You realise you just replied to something posted several months ago? Yeah, this section of the forum is pretty well dead.

Nah I found it out the hard way too, left the fuel cap for my Cosmo at a servo once and had to go buy a new one. Went back later that night to yarn to my mate on graveyard and he showed me the big box they had under the counter...with my one on the top

There's a pretty well parted out KP6? Starlet up there. Three door. Manual. I *think* it is a moderately late model one but don't quote me.

There is also a KE70 variety of stationwagon, but it's the high roof model. Didn't look inside so can't tell you if it's manual or auto.

If anyone is going, I'd quite like the rubber bits that adjust the bonnet height...the ones that sit at the far edges and have a bolt under them. For a KE70 that is.
