technotoytuning.com - im getting some stuff, anyone else?

Postby cogent » Fri May 04, 2007 4:03 pm

Hi All,

I am in the process of ordering some coilovers for my AW11 through technotoytuning.com. They are located in the states and the current exchange rate was what made me decide to just do it.

Anyway, they do quite a few differant bits and bobs from shifter rebuild kits to camber plates, velocity stacks etc.

I dont know the going rate for stuff like that, I do know the coilovers im getting are working out to be less than $600NZ for the set and the MR2OC board heavily reccomends them.

so yeah, if anyone else is interested, have a look at thier stuff they have and maybe post up in this thread, ive got 2 shifter rebuild kits ordered from a mate and my coilovers so far.

I understood their coilovers worked on an exchange basis? Or are you getting the weld on coilover kit instead? I know that just the front end to suit a KP61 (incl camber plates) was priced at around $1500 NZD incl. freight.

Im getting the weld-on kit so no dramas there.

Wasnt aware of that, but at the same time D2 coilovers and tiens are priced quite a bit more than the GC kit, and from what ive read the GC kit is still a very nice quality item (includes bilstien springs as part of the package).

You're not recommending D2's to someone are you? 8O
Depending when you order, I may be keen to get some camber plates.

No they've been around for a bit. I thought their range was alright, given that they're more into autocross kinda stuff.
Though whats online isnt all they do apparently.
