Heres one for yas out there in tv land... i need some information..

i have a 280zx with l28 and it spit a valve retainer on number one, lost that stupid robot nipple thing on top of the valve and droped the rocker. So im in search of either replacment parts (which are incredibly hard to find) or a new head...

Now my question is this: how interchangable are the heads in L series nissan motors for eg. l24/26 head on my 28 or possibly even diseasel head?!!

And 2nd: does anyone have these parts??

And wots up with the cam retainer bolts doubling as head bolts??

i dont know the codes off by hart but down at my lock up i have 2 motors that i had for spairs for my datson 280SX 2.8L ones from memory got rid on the car about a year ago so there just sitting in the correr will they help for patrs 1`s the same but a nissin motor & a runner & the other is datson thats throwen a leg out came with the car i owned it for about 5 weeks then traded it for my 1200sss coupe never evan lifted the bonnet only it drove it a hole 15 or so k in the time i had it
