Barry - you should, it'd be very interesting to see what your car is like on the track.

im taking it to taupo track 1, full circuit next thursday so i'll find out. Should handle pretty good i recon, just be a mission stopping :P

Are you done drag racing your 101???

I no the guy here in Welly whose bought your Hoosiers..

If your getting into the track stuff brakes is what you need more so then anything else as theres nothing worse.Once your brakes are cake yoiu just become a road cone out there..

If you are going towards track day stuff you'll have alot more fun though I see your 330 KW at 25 odd psi won't last long out there..good luck.. :D

thanks for brakes 101.

Yes I know how to setup a track car, been doing it with dad for many years now :D

Brakes will be ok, got a few tricks up my sleeve.

And I wont be running 25psi, + my car gets the power to the road surprisingly well.

wont worry me i'll be in front of him the hole time :D

lol so true, last time with my lsd on its last legs i had a great time trying to reign in the wheelspin. still had some good battles even going halfassed with no brake fluid  but ill still be in front of you brendon, i just need to stop playing around for once hahaha.
oh and get bothered to fix the car

oh and barry and his old man have probly forgotten more about setting up a track car than most of us will ever know

also an 1100kg car doesnt need anywhere near as much power as a 1500kg supra (conservative estimate  ) to get round fast , just a shame the corollas dont come with those monstrous facelift supra brakes standard. i think a shade over 200kw atw with nice tyres and a half decent driver would get a fwd clocking some pretty competitive times.

Well there is my ae92, your ae101, Bazda's 92 and IH8TEC's 92 so hopefully one of us will have it all together and can show people how well a rediculously over powered fwd can do on a track  8)

Mine should be a much faster/better setup than last time on the track...fingers crossed lol. Got some practise in the 86 on Saturday...but had a heater hose burst so ended the day pretty quick :?

yep my motor has done very well also, been waiting for it to go bang but she just keeps on going.... good old 4agze!

will no doubt look into a reasonable sized oil cooler before this event and front mount it, will be a good day, looking forward to it. 8)

lol its called friendly rivarly  it makes it fun

most of us run the same true street tyres we drive to the track on too, and havent got as many track days behind us developing the car's setup as yourself either. i was running mid 1:20's pretty casually (160wkw) with a couple of niggles. im pretty sure there will be a few 4agte cars lapping below that next time too

how many forums can't you get on now from winding people up anyway
