Im down for manifeild, and the rest of the activtivies.

If paintball goes ahead, give me a yell Brad, im heavily tied up with one of the better local feilds and ill sort out a price for everyone. Plus we have the choice of the speedball (fast games) field in palmy, or the wood/castle field out near sanson.

Before this gets outta hand if I've insulted anyone this was not my intention to do so..

As for 1.20 something in a daily driven street-car well if you think thats not quick all I have to say to that is that you have'nt done very many laps around Manfield.Because I think anything under 1.25 is extremely fast for a daily driven drive to the track and drive home car..

The main thing to having track-day fun is reliability not being a 1 lap wonder and breaking down so oil and coolant change before you come to a track day are a must also adequate braking ie appropriate pads and brake fluid motul RBF 600 will do the job..Remember there are 3 in my case 190 plus kph stops there so braking is very important here and also I've found over the years that if you can do 6- 8 lap runs at Manfield your car will be able to do any track in the country with no reliability problems.

No 1 lap wonders saying you did this and that going 30-40 laps and driving home and then you can truely say you've had fun at the track.. :wink:

1.20 is quick!

50+ laps, consistant 1.28's, two spins, three hours to and from the track.
could do that all day every day

Agreed, 1:20 is preety damn quik IMO but then again i do drive a starlet.

Totattly agree with 2jayzgte's comment on the braking / coolant / engine oil. After winding well off my 180kph speedo down all 3 straights it gets preety scary when you heading into the corners with a poor brake pedal and boiling brake fluid (dont use TRD fluid, its arse).

wasnt a dig man, i just know how adept you are at pushing peoples buttons(especially skyline owners) , and some dont understand you're just stirring :lol:

some of us have a long way to go towards reliability

making sure your brake fluid isnt empty is a good start!

yea do we gota register for this ?
i'm just in the middle of my brake upgrade, totally ruined them at taupo haha. So a nice big 300mm rotor with Wilwood calipers should do the trick

. I have designed a kit that will bolt straight onto a ae92 hub, if anyones keen let me know as i'll be making them soon.

Yes, you do have to register for the trackday. Can't just have people turning up thinking they can race, its not how it works

So far I have 24 people registered, so 16 spots left - I'd really like to have them filled by TS members
