I see Mclaren are looking strong at Monaco with Alonso and Hamilton 1 and 3 after Thursday practise and Trulli is looking good being 4th fastest thats a real improvement over what they have been doing..Bring on Sunday..

No it ddn't, unless like me you're a McLaren supporter ;)

Trulli in 13th, Ralf in 20th (he really has to go).

Givien the lack of passing oppurtunities and the high attrition rate at Monaco, best that could be hoped for is to score a point or two if the field ahead of Trulli gets decimated

Nice style alright, he'll be ok when the remove the traction control, but I'm not sure he can do it for 78 laps around Monaco without hitting a wall

Predictably Toyota again were rubbish at Monaco and while I have taken alot of what people have said on board ie Toyota not having the experience....But really to me I have seen no improvement with this team over the past 2 races no consistency well I suppose if I look at it that way the are bad consistenly.I don't understand how Jarno Trulli can go from 4th fastest on Friday to outside the top 10 during qualifying and as for Ralf Schumacher they may as well paint his car orange and call him a road cone because he should be gone.

Now I realise I'm going to in undated with excuse's for why Toyota are'nt doing very well but get real people you just have the face facts that they are not doing a very good job that is the team and the drivers. So I feel an absolute overhaul is needed..I read a old article when Toyota first entered F1 and the boss at the time Ove Andersen predicted in 5 years Toyota would be competitive or so he reckoned but having a look at it now I just look and laugh....... :)

F1 is a completely different ball game to WRC & Sportscar's - prototype sports cars to be exact. Unlike Toyota's previous motorsport efforts, F1 results are not directly proportional to the investment.

Comparing a 7 year old clean slate Toyota, to pre-war organizations is somewhat, how can I say it.. Ignorant

Was an interesting device actually. You had to install it with special arms to hold open the restrictor bypasses. When you removed the restrictor from the car for inspection they snapped shut with very little evidence they were there. Apparently the only reason the FIA found out about them was a disgruntled Toyota ex-employee.

Toyota were banned for a year and had thier 95 year points "adjusted".

By that time drivers were already bitching about the heavy Celica with a poor driving position. Hence the return to WRC with the Toyota Corolla WRC.
The answer is Helmholtz!

Toyota ST185 Celica Rally.
Toyota ST205 Celica Rally.

No not at all but the teams you mention are at least showing some progress and a couple of the mentioned teams have actually won the drivers and constructors championship and the way Toyota seem to be going at the moment they won't do it at all..I mean c'mon Toyota in 5,6 years of F1 have won pole position twice and have been on the podium twice in 5 seasons for all the billions spent 2 poles and 2 podiums honestly thats just crap.
I hate to say this but I reckon Honda will be better than Toyota by the end of the season they are actually showing progress.
This is my whole thing Toyota is not showing any PROGRESS FOWARD MOMENTUM.They have just stagnated there BEST result this year I think was in Bahrain where they finished 8th and 9th but all the rest has been RUBBISH and for a team that has huge $$$$ invested wheres the results.

Um, I suggest if you want any credibility in this debate that you learn to get your facts right

Toyota have had 6 podiums, and along with the 2 poles have been on the front row 5 times. Which for a team that have only been in F1 for 5 seasons, is a very good record.
I hate to say this but I reckon Honda will be better than Toyota by the end of the season they are actually showing progress.

Whilst we are play guessing games...I predict you are wrong, and that Toyota will beat Honda this year, they might also beat Williams, but that one is too close to call.

Well, as the don't pay points after 8th place, it's debateable that 8th & 9th beats 7th and whatever poor position Ralf scored. I also disagree that they're not making progress, that's a bit hard to judge right now, and I don't think it's possible to make that call until the season is at least 1/2 over.

Well I'm assuming you watched the race and you would have heard the commentators also taking the piss out of Toyota.I found there comments when Ralf Schumacher pitted that they said this is a day that you prayed for a mechanical breakdown and then went on to say how Toyota had so many issues that they could'nt put there finger on it and that there were so many things wrong and then went on to say how surprised they were considewring there spending 400 million odd $$$$ and had 1200 person team to do so badly I assume you heard that.Biggest JOKE going in F1 is Toyota....

Why would you suggest that Toyota will beat Honda what has Toyota shown in the 5 races to date to suggest that Toyota can beat Honda where is there any evidence of this.... 8O How is a team that spends $400 million a year can't beat a team that spends 1/2 that. You say Toyota is making progress please now are you in the real world what progress are you referring to progress backwards and as for them beating Williams well they should should'nt they it would be very embarrassing if a team using your motors beat you.
