I can only assume you hear what you want to hear, not what was said. Martin Brundle did say there was something not right in the "team", but I don't recall him taking the piss, and certainly not saying that Toyota was the biggest joke in F1, he's more professional than that.
Why would you suggest that Toyota will beat Honda what has Toyota shown in the 5 races to date to suggest that Toyota can beat Honda where is there any evidence of this....
How is a team that spends $400 million a year can't beat a team that spends 1/2 that.
Show me any links that say what Honda's budget is please??? Budgets are a closely guarded secret in F1 and anything would just be a guess. Anyway Honda is behind on points, qualifying, finishes in fact they're behind in all facets of F1. So how can you possibly think they will beat Toyota
. Their car is in a worse shape than Toyota's and they have, IMHO, better drivers, so it must be really bad.
You say Toyota is making progress please now are you in the real world what progress are you referring to progress backwards and as for them beating Williams well they should shouldn’t they it would be very embarrassing if a team using your motors beat you.
You obviously have no understanding of the subtleties of F1, keep watching for a few more years and you might learn to judge performance a bit better. Though you'd have to be a bit more of a closer observer than you appear to be right now.
As for Williams beating Toyota, why not??? Motor spec is fixed until 2010, so customer engines will be the same spec as factory engines. Williams have far more experience than Toyota in the F1 game and they've been at the top before so they know how to make it work. If they didn't beat Toyota at this early stage of Toyota's involvement in F1 then they'd be consigned to the history books very soon as another also ran. However I expect both Williams and Toyota will have their time at the top again in the future.
In fact I suspect that Williams will adapt better to the common (Microsoft supplied) ECU next season, though that move will favour McLaren more than most
