Change the date to a few months earlier (if a public holiday is required then do easter or anzac!!) or later if you need time to fix your busted engine issues (labour day or around then).

date is not changing.

And what has my rebuild got to do with this?

I am not forcing anyone down the strip, the whole point of this suprafest is to get the event back on track for being an annual event. As you said, you found the track slippery in the dry.. this is a fun day for comparing your supra to other like minded supra owners.

everyone will be on the same track, so it does not matter.

I think you will find that there will always be a few people that wont be happyw ith the given date, you cant please everyone.

However i have had alot of good feedback and at this early stage we have about 30 supra owners keen to come.

The weekend isnt just about the drags, there will be some other events as mentioned.

You cant tell me that if its raining outside that you dont drive your supra??

If you have any other questions or negative comments, feel free to email me.

thanks for your concern

I don't have a supra or anything but wanna jsut put this out there as it may be something that you haven't considered 1st of June is about a week from when University exams start so i would hazard a guess as to say no students with supras would be able to attend on that date....just throwing it out there as i know this is often overlooked

I don't know that many students with Supras anyway, most people from SCONZ/SS are well out of school. :P

Don't take things so seriously, that was not bagging you at all. If you've been on here for a while you should know that when I'm ripping in to someone I use allot more than just one sentence. I just think that Matt needs a little more support with this, all he seems to be getting lately it criticism about the date etc.

You will NEVER please everyone when organizing this event. Next event could possibly be organized on a different date depending on how this one goes...

What the hell is it with people bagging event dates these days?

Every event that i've seen lately, 90% of people have hated the date...
But I bet even if you did change it, those people still wouldnt go!!

Good job with the organising, should be a great event 8)
