is that because the liftbacks handle like a bowl of jelly and have the structural integrity of a piece of sponge???Volodkovich wrote:yea, or te71. i've got a te71 liftback. Somehow the coupe's are just much cooler though...

my coupe when it had the motor in it, could get 2 wheels off the ground earlier than the L/B when lifted from the same point , and the l/b has a cage in it. the doors of the coupe would still open and shut, whereas the liftback needed to be forced.Volodkovich wrote:wouldnt have thought they would be much different to a coupe? Haven't driven a coupe though
back on subject.
kp60 would be way lighter and way cheaper to build, and it is possible to alter the track and wheelbase to get a similar ratio to the AE/KE/TE platform.
KP for the win.

where i reckon if you paint ya car like that ^ your a wannabe!
notchback/sedans tend to be stiffer and lighter than coupe/fastback equivalants.
hence why most factory race ae86s were the notch backs in group A and rally.
