What do you mean put weight on the front wheels? Neither design would be any different. The Toyota would rock the engine back (not that it makes a difference to weight over the wheels. The Honda design would sit the engine on the other side of the engine bay and having it spinning backwards also pushes the engine back towards the firewall also (again, not that I can see how thatwould make a difference to weight on the wheels)

Awesome, cheers guys.. bike engine thing is interesting, will be talking to a couple of guys into drag bikes etc..

As for the beams engine, it looks like it will fit - its only 10mm taller than variable valve timing mx5 1.8L engine. Anyone know a weight of an dual vvti engine and gbox? also still wondering about a non beams 3sg (NA still)

keep the suggestions coming

as 1uz will probably fit, as they do fit a 3.5l rover v8, but after having my chevron, which in 7 terms is heavy! and not much power, I think 200hp should be heaps, and easily done with I4..

but if i could get one cheap, those hayabusa v8's would be awesome! pity they 18,000 POUNDS!
