i'll get a photo of the way we wired it in mine. it's a bit nasty, and the plugs are so that IF it played up, could just unplug it and run stock, but it works. be some time during the week.

ok i hooked up the zener diode this morning an the car didnt idle properly the thing is i checked with my multimeter an it measured a drop of voltage after the zener diode which showed that a 4.7 volt zener diode was dropping voltage at idle even, isnt the diode suppose to let anything below 4.7 volt pass through if so then why was it dropping around 1.6 voltage to 1.1 an yea i tried another 4.7 volt diode just to make sure the first wasnt stuffed up i also flipped it around an soldered it an still it was dropping voltage even though the value of the voltage passing through was below 4.7

You certainly done it wrong.
There are 3 wires at MAP. +5V, Signal and GND. you put diode between Signal and GND so the stripe on diode is on Signal side. It is easy to find which is which on the map sensor, with ignition on +5V should be (obviously) 5V, Signal should be some where between 1 and 3v and GND should be 0v. That is measuring voltage between pins and body/-ve terminal on the battery.

Yeah man, something not right there.
Probably not good to be trying just random things to see if you can make it work, could break $hit.

Are you sure it's a proper Zener Diode and not a signal diode?

Also never connect +5V pin on MAP sensor to anything that could short it to ground or MAP sensor output. (as in putting Zener diode between +5V and GND) This will fry voltage reg. inside ECU.

got it man i put the diode inline with the signal wire went back and put the stripe side with the signal wire and the other to the ground an hey it worked it idles properly. diode is rated at 4.7 volts, took car for a test drive an it didnt hit boost cut in 1st didnt go till 2nd coz car goes side ways in rain :D .......cheers guys
