RIP ae92

Well it has been a long time coming but another ae92 has bitten the dust.

No big accident or crash, but lack of a WOF and too many things to do to get a WOF means it has been sidelined. Not long after I had just put a smallport into it after the old big port shat itself.

So maybe I should find a home for the old girl. Currently has a smallport 4age with TRD 0.8mm head gasket, blue top cams (re-shimmed), 4age 20v Extractors, 2 1/4 inch exhaust. Apexi SAFC is hooked up but not tuned in (as the smallport is running off the big port ecu) All oil seals replaced (even the internal distributor one) bottom end checked and can be currently seen running. Also has Dobisport lowering springs and Monroe Gas shocks (rear shortened by 20mm to be captive, although I may use these on my new ae101 corolla bz-touring).

So does anyone know of any interest in a smallport like this?

And on to my new Car, Picked up a 1997 Corolla bz-touring.

Not sure at this stage. Depends on the interest really. Whether it is the whole car or just engine I don't know.

Engine gearbox loom ecu and Apexi safc $1200 is probably a bit much but it has been cleaned and painted. Looking at your signature, its probably not what you are looking for.

Car needs, rust repair (a lot of rust repair), front wheel bearings and windscreen repair to get a WOF.

Where is the rust exactly? Wheel bearings and a windscreen wiper are hardly difficult to replace.

Note it said windscreen repair, not windscreen wiper repair. As in the windscreen has acrack around 150mm long.

Rust is in spare tyre well, rear parcel tray (windscreen was taken out and rust repaired 3 years ago, obviously wasnt done well enough) and there is rust coming up around right rear quarter window.

Yeah Im a bit gutted to see the old girl in a sad state. I guess I am probably going to have to split it up as I won't get much moeny for it with rust, windscreen and other problems.
