I like it (specially with the black bumpers).

I'd like a 1600 or 1800 though. I'd buy one if i had 2,000,000.00 JPY( = 21,215.19 NZD )

The 2nzfe is 1.3L, so i guess they probably mean a tweaked 1nzfe (1.5L)

If they do its a fairly heavily undersquare motor so wont have the reviness of a 4age which is part of the heart and soul of the Levin/Trueno line IMO.

Only time will tell i guess.

my money is on <1yr before someone does a 4ag(z/t)e conversion on one if they ever make it to market :)

That pic doesnt look too bad tho. :)

Just get rid of the really short boot (ie like the old 86 hatch) and two tone paint style :D

I like it, most of the cars these days have to have large bulbous bumpers for passenger impact, and so it'll never really look like the original.

I'd certainly trade my car on it if that price stays close.

dunno, to me it looks more like an Altezza thats been smacked in the nose, and a ~2001/2 celica shoved on the back end.

But reading other stuff on the same site especially the supposed new honda crx which is supposed to be a hybrid 1.3l turbo makes that engine make sense, becasue i'm guessing there will be a hybrid version of the new ae86, & a hybrid turbo would be way cool & cheap to insure & register if they bring in those propsed new laws to make hybrids cheaper & therefore more appealing.

At least this propsed design looks more realistic then the one in the other thread which looks like a photoshoped version of the new crx.
