dynatron 7800 installation instructions

so i ripped out the alarm from my old car and now i want to put it in my new car. does anyone have the instruction booklet that came with the alarm and stuff?

since all the wiring is all black how do they figure out whats what to begin with?

also did the 1987 ae92 fxgt come with central locking?

my fx didnt come with central locking, mine was a 1990 if that makes a difference...

When you buy the alarm from new they come with labels on the wires.

When you remove it you label them as you remove them,

otherwise..................................

???

There is a way to tell but it involves dismantling it and checking it against another of the same model, which you probably dont have.

Re-fitting s/h alarms is a shitty job.

sell it off and buy a new one.

As Matt said, reusing alarms are a nightmare.

At the very least, buy a new loom (which you might not be able to do because of the below)

The Dynatron 7800 is (supposed to be) only available as an authorised dealer installed product and most people don't get the installation material but there are a few dealers that have been selling boxed product over the counter and on Trademe, so you might get lucky.

Installer services sell the loom for $50. they are usually marked at the end of the wire with a tag which you remove upon install (the mongoose ones are anyway). I had my dynatron professionally installed, but all black wire alarms should be similar in terms of install

doesnt matter anymore. got my loom for $45 was easy enough to install and i reckon as good if not better than a pro because extra precautions taken to make it harder for any thief trying to mess with it.
