scum of the earth, my rant for the week

Postby frost » Sun Jul 15, 2007 10:49 pm

i come home after work 8pm and pull into the drive way and see my levin, notch drivers door slightly open, i was like WTF, getting a closer look i find they have fuked locks, looks like a screw driver job, i was so :x so i open the door and find the ignition barrel has had the same treatment

they tried to drive away with my pride&joyII however they could not get it started, and the reason for that is....the car had no engine!!!
pulled engine out for rebuild last weekend :D
so now i have to pay $180 for new locks but at least the whole car is still at home,

note to self: pull engine out every weekend

"don't bother i have no engine!!!" at least then i'd save myself from replacing locks,

What makes you think people this stupid can read 8O
EP82 Starlet GT club race car;
best time around Manfield to date : 1:19:91

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Using a cover just shows you have something that's worth hiding, thus worth stealing.

Just lucky you had no engine i guess.
A well placed kill switch, along with a good alarm is the next best thing.

in my car pulling the dash fuse completely disables it, so if i ever have to park it anywhere questionable i take that and the igniter out of it. sure people can still break in but theres nothing worth taking in it.

there was nothing inside the car worth taking, no stereo, no glove box, no spare wheel, only the car itself maybe? ae85 levin, notch, there is quite a few car people down my street and i know all of them but there honda dudes so not really interested in my old toy, and have never had trouble with brake-ins until now,

also my street is very "community" everyone talks to everyone about happens on, on our street.

I'd prefer that someone took the car and I never saw it again, than to deal with the crap left after some cowboys removed speakers, stereo etc. with a crowbar.

It would be a loss but at least its over with, nothing left to deal with.
