***4agze bigport with rwd inlet minus tvis butterflys***

hi i have done a search and cnat seem to find what i need to no....

i am turbing my bigport 4agze and am putting my rwd inlet on the tvis model.and am wanting to use the manifold without tvis do i have to do any modz to make the inlet fit to the head of motor?

i have herd there is little luggs on the head tht u have to grind off to make the inlet firwith out the tvis plate is this true or nah?

so am pretty much just wanting to no if it will fit up all gud i guess

just take tvis plate out?

It will fit fine, but with tvis removed your bolts/studs will be too long, easy fix is get some off a smallport or any other bolts will do..

The one I had dealings with had chronic manifold leaks as they dont seal properly without that part.

Why remove them?

You can take them out of the plate and put the plate back in.

they wont seal properly with out the tvis plate.
i usually run beads of weld between the ports to build up the manifold then skim it flat so it will seal properly,

i have bigport 4agze, never removed any lugs, put bigpot tvis intake mani on there with 4agze headgaskit, never leaked. now i've put the tvis plate back in there, with the new setup, and used the 4age gaskits.

so what be better then taking the butterflys out and keepn the tvis plate in or just gettn 4agze gasket?
