Postby Dell'Orto » Fri Jul 27, 2007 10:28 pm

Further to my thread here I'm really quite desperate to get a set made up.
Anyone know who can do this???

Top rings are both 2mm (or if I can get 1.6 that would be better) with a 4mm oil control ring. 75.5 bore diameter.

Tried Segedins, but they couldn't help. Are there 2 seperate division of Segedins?

Thanks Fivebob, I'll try them on Monday.

Yes there is two divisions on Segedins. There is their original store in Dominion Road in Town which basically does V8 stuff, then there is STA or Segedins Truck & Auto which is at the airport, they do all the same stuff as in town plus the jap stuff & obviously truck stuff for the likes of F150's etc.

As with all the above posts try Johnsons first they usually have something that will work or can put you onto someone.

If you have no luck then try Segedins,Pioneer Autoparts & see if they have something. If no luck thentry Proturn Engineering or Denco both in Christchurch as both make custom pistons & can usually help.

Best bet is to try & get hold of someone who stocks/uses the same brand pistons as they may have in stock or else can easily get the correct rings. But I'm quite sure you'll find something from Total Seal,Howards etc that'l do the job.
