Cant be that long, those late model GT-Four caldinas have a 3S.

And wouldn't the logical choice for an MR2 be something along the ZZ lines?

Strx7 - :P I think some AW11's do look FC-ish, if you see a facelift gunmetal one from the front at night......

Personally if I could choose to put any engine in any MR2 chassis, it would probably be a supercharged 2ZZ in the back of an MRS.

Of course it would have to be black, with a hardtop, and good suspension etc too.

Poor mans exige. :P

I like the way you're thinking, Roman :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

my AW11 is parked right next to my FC at home and nope they dont look anything alike other than the four wheels and popup lights. im sorry guys, but yeah fcs and aw's really arnt that similar.

fc has a much longer, less sloping bonnet compared to the aw
fc has a hatch that extends from the roof to the boot, aw has a flat deck and flanking pillars
aw has pillar less doors, fc has a metal trim that runs all the way around the window
cogent

i agree.

oh an aw11 will still be running long after the rx7 has blown up. twice even!
of course the body of the aw11 will have long since rusted away....

the UK/europe has had loads of hot hatches for a while now, and a lot are using 2L turbo engine in fwd's. holden has 1 in their vxr range, the golfs have been 1.8 and 2L turbos, theres others i forget too.

they are coming out with some mad fwd's. we just don t see most of them down here
