1JZGTE Waterpump

Postby RickGT » Thu Aug 02, 2007 11:41 pm

Looking for a new waterpump to replace the hydraulic waterpump assy, tried a 2jzgte one and it doesnt line up, went to Toyota an they only list 1 pump for 1jzgte which is the hydraulic, but there is a listing for a 1jz-ge one that is just the water pump, would this fit onto 1jz-gte?

I used the 2JZGTE pump (front and rear housings). You have to use a complete 2JZGTE setup (including the Pulley too)

Just make sure you sort a switch out for the electric fan if thats where you go of the viscous setup off the JZA80. I had a switch and kept forgetting it when i got into traffic and i could hear the 'kettle boil'

Non-Hydraulic water pump - Part Number 16100-49846
Non-Hydraulic water pump pulley - Part Number 16371-46020

They will tell you that those numbers aren't listed for any of the cars you might expect to get a 1JZ-GTE out of, but trust me, they are the right parts, I have them in my car. My pump came as a complete unit (minus the pulley, which is why I've supplied the part number for it) with all the seals etc that you would need.
