guard rolling - West auckland

Postby ants_ae92 » Mon Aug 06, 2007 11:08 am

Anyone know of any good places to get guards rolled in west auckland? Last time there was a mobile guy through magwarehouse.com that came to my house. But I think he was quite expensive and I don't think the job was that great.

Unfortunately the 18s I have for my bz touring corolla don't quite clear the rear guards and they need to be rolled so I can fit them.

get a panel beaters hammer.
get a dolly and pad it with something soft
then go for it, the seems are pretty soft on toyotas and you shouldnt damage ur guard at all.

Not quite the response I was after as I needed them rolled up quite hard to fit the 18s in.

I ended up going with the guy I used last time. So if anyone wants a guard rolling guy in west auckland I can give you his number.

Usual price was $45 excluding gst per guard.

He does heat the paint first so that it may not crack but again there is no guarantees.

He may even give a cash price. He did my rear 2 guards for $80 but I would expect around $50 per guard.

He also does airbag suspension for magwarehouse.com kelston branch.
