As usual, different strokes for different folks - train spotters would notice that a lot of people who say that have never been seen competing at any event.... I'm personally would prefer to be (or watch) a good drag racer than a bad track racer.

Mr H8TEC: I for one have driven GTRs which are harder to get a clean run on with street tires than a typical 2WD turbo on slicks is.

I think I'll tentatively aim for a let September/early October meet :)

lol

i'll be at the events as usual. And you think its easy to drive a fwd car with 500hp into the 10s!, I see lots of 4wd cars in the 10s, but i dont see very many fwds as its alot harder to drive one into the 10s.
I see there are LOADS of FWDs out there with same or even more power than me and they are still in the 12s!!

YAYYY :D I was hoping for a bit of a bite. Gets people in the spirit of things haha.

Yeah FWDs are definitely a mission to get into the 10s, hence I said 2WDs quite pointedly ;) I did say slick equipped vs street tired AWD though, you'll find the "run what you brung" 10s AWDs aren't THAT common. I'm personally looking forward to this season, there should be heaps of things worth watching or racing.
