drag racing this weekend?

Postby MR2SIK » Mon Aug 20, 2007 11:57 am

Has anyone else heard about this in chch this weekend?
one of my mates is convincing me to go but I want to confirm a few things as its a decent trip for me to take for it.
Firstly the helmet, will a normal motorbike one do, or does it need a certain safety label in it,
And the radiator overflow bottle, here we can just use a 600ml coke bottle attached to the overflow line from thae factory bottle, can you do that in chch or does it need a proper overflow?
Really keen to test the new set up

just ditch her there man

so you reckon just the one overflow bottle will do? Here we got to put an overflow bottle on the overflow line of the standard bottle so its effectivly a sealed set up.

This was posted on the NZPC fourms tonight

The "have a go day "at Ruapuna on the 26th has been cancelled. This is due to damage to the underground cables for the timing system. We need to do some repairs and test it all. Next meeting is on September 23rd.
