Postby nzae86 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 11:16 pm

After spending 6 hours waiting in the rain to get my tickets on Sunday :) , to find out the best stands had sold out in 5 3/4 hours  do you think that they will run out of tickets?.

Hmmm I think I'll try to go for work like I did for the round at Pukekohe. I work for the company that makes the big LED screens that they're bound to be using. At puke I got to sit on the top of a container at the entry end of the pits, fantastic viewpoint.

Will those minis be there? Those are quite fun to watch.

Seems as though i was wrong with what i said earlier. According to:

http://www.motorsport.org.nz/Calendar/racechamps.htm

the supporting classes will be NZV8's, Gt3's, Toyota Race Series & the Mini Challenge.

So this would be the 1st time the TRS have been used on a street curcuit?

Imagine the first few sessions will be interesting in getting setups right, especially for the TRS's since they probally wont have a base setup they can go to. But someone correct me if i'm wrong
