Postby LEV_101 » Thu Aug 30, 2007 10:57 pm

hi ,

i have two exahust for my car but i still dont know which one to choose.

what i want to know is the differences between the two. performance wise.

blitz nur barrel type 2.5 inch inlet. and goes inside barrel and and the tip is 4 inch but when i look inside the barrel it is more of 2 inch out.

kakimoto - 2.5 inch inlet and straight though and out 2.5inch

why is the blitz exhaust 2 inch out ?

what is best in performance wise?

thanks

The end muffler will make 2/5s of f**kall difference unless it is overly restrictive, which neither of these will be.

I assume(from your user name) you have an AE101 Levin, so 1600, NA?
Any mods?

Assuming none, it probably wont matter which one you have on there, so much heat will have dropped from the exhaust temp by the time it gets to the end of the pipe that it will be far less dense, and would probably flow out a 1.75" pipe quite happily.

From memory factory they are a 2.25" or 2.5" aren't they?
Cat out it will probably buzz like a Honda.

Probably wont make a hell of a lot of difference which one you use...

I know some of the 2 1/2" jasma n1 style mufflers, have a smaller perforated tube going through them to help quieten them down. Cant be great for performance.
Is that what the blitz is like?
