it is oil pump seal and crank seal.
If the crank is worn by seal just either push the new seal further in or don't put it in so far, so the working surface would be untouched by old seal.

if you havent done a cambelt before i wouldnt reccomend doing it yourself

ok so oil pump seal and crank seal are the same thing? so the seal can wear the crank?? how much distance is there for the seal?? say i have the seal just in.. how much futher can i push it back?

oil pump seal and crank seal are two different things also

theres no reason you couldnt do it if you have someone who knows a bit about it nearby to check how you are doing things, but its easy to get it wrong if you dont know how to do it, and theres alot of time involved each way - putting it all back together then taking it apart again when you realise the timing is a tooth out or something.

theres also potential to seriously damage engine if you try and start it with cambelt belt incorrectly tensioned etc
