Isn't that a killer? No matter how much you lighten the car you're still gonna have a +30Kgs penalty.

Was the same in my rowing crew, our coxswain was absolutely amazing but we had to let him go cause he was just plain too heavy :(

I haven't weighed my ae92 Trueno yet because its still full of interior etc. Plan is to strip the rear completely and replace the front seats with buckets, racetech something or others.

Hopefully around 1050? Going by the extra weight of the turbo stuff vs the removed supercharger and air con stuff.

Oh and its got a sun roof which I'll remove, partly because of the extra wieght...but mostly because I'm too tall and my helmet just touches the roof lining (which is lower due to sunroof stuff).

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Geez, don't really think i'd trust an r2d2 unit for navigational purposes. You might end up in a wall or something, maybe cut across the infield

Haven't even got my track car yet (plans are below) but hope i could get it as light as possible.

Will take a LOT of time and money to build this, but it is my sole long term goal. :)

R32 GTS-25 manual coupe
- Light as possible
- Small aerodynamic bodykit/wing
- NON turbo (too many Skylines are being turboed)
- Aim for little over 300 hp at the wheels, either by staying NA ($$$) or going with a supercharger ($$$)
- Huge SouthernSkylines.com stickers on the sides of the car will add at least 12-14hp more.

Will buy a shell one day and start on the weight reduction first and once that and all the handling stuff is sorted i'll start upping the power.
