Evo looks like a bubble, and semi VE/Honda-ish
Subaru looks like a Focus

Both not really what they should be in my opinion

Evo seems to be alright, they got quite a bit out of the engine.
Good torque and nice and low down for a small displacement high powered turbo car.

Im sure the STI would respond very well with a slight tickle, with its displacement it should make more torque than that!

Don't like the look of the Poobaru, looks like it got a good hit from behind... Like the new Evo though.
But then again both will look alot different in real life.

Interesting article with pics

Hang, on, is this a review of two cars that aren't publicly released, and the magazine hasn't in fact driven.

That's an interesting trick. Almost as though they pulled a review out of their collective arses.

Yep ... just finished reading it. What a crock of shit. It's nothing but a collection of speculation "might" "should" "an insider"

Saw a new WRX today in Invercargill.

It looked a lot better in real life than it does in any photo's that I have seen, more like my car :D :D

I've seen a couple.

They are better than the photos make them look, but they still don't look good. Having said that they might look quite nice with some decent wheels and without fat, 50+ drivers....

I love the look of the EvoX... the front of the WRX is "ok", but I love the fact that it is a hatch.

Both cars have grown up and look much more subtle than the cars of old.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking when I looked at it.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Yep. Take the "artist rendering" photo of the Subaru WRC car. Photoshop the Focus WRC sponsor stickers on the Subaru ... then try to work out the difference between the two.

I reckon it looks good. At least they bulked up the STi a bit, lookswise... the standard WRX looks incredibly wussy.

we just got the brand new generation lancers in at work yesterday, the VRX model looks good in my eyes, rolling on standard 18's. but the standard engine isnt really a match to the out going models mivec 2.4l, ive only driven autos so far, 6 speed manuals should pick up the performance
