Why not just say you are'nt into track action and quit BSing to the people who have.I have had lots of issues to over come in the last 3 months but that won't stop me from making this day.

Oh well from the looks of it I'll be out there with at least 10 others... :D

I dont think thats the problem dude. Calm down...
people have other commitments that are more important than track racing, or money problems, or problems with not having any pistons lol.

well, he does have a bit of a point
yes some times shit happens and you cant make it (eg me :( )

however as payment is supposed to be in now..... there does either appear to be a lot of misfortune happening, or a bit of b/s....

as for me, iv tracked my problems down to out of round tyres. all four. meaing i need to buy 4 new tyres this month. therefore buggering a big chunk o my MM budget. i will still be there. but i can no longer participate in everthing. and as the track is the single biggest cost (for me) its had to go :(

Feilding Holiday Park.

And yes, people who are leaving it til now to pull out without a good excuse, its pretty poor really. Its not exactly easy organising an event like this!

I no hindsight is a good thing to have after the fact but what should have happend was once you confirm a spot you pay your money 3 months out. You'll probably find once people have forked the $$$ over all of these car issues will have disappeared.

Yes believe it or not people it is BS leaving the organiser hanging to the last minute or bailing completely because in the end if you do a no show and have confirmed your spot its not as though you have to make up the costs right remember we've got the easy job pay turn up have fun simple really is'nt it unlike the organiser who has the stress of running the event smoothly collecting money and other such things.Just put yourself in Dell Orto shoes then you might understand.

Car issues are kind of hard to disappear when the car you planned on and the only one worth racing is a write off.....some issues can not disappear, people are not made of money so get your head outta ya a$$ mate!

Yes it sucks people are pulling out of the events but hey, unfortunately thats a fact of life and no one can tell the future!

Haven't you already made that point LilRippa earlier in this thread? Move on, the written off car has already been ruled out of this conversation.

I'm with 2jayzgte on this one, i'd say 80% of people that pull out, do so because it doesn't suit them or they just can't be f**ked turning up anymore.

The main person this affects is Brad, as $$ doesn't just appear from nowhere when people "can't make it anymore" because of lazy reasons.

genuine reasons are exactly that, genuine. The rest will be reasons that waste Brads time!

Basically if you are interested in doing the event don't sit on the sidelines ranting raving about things that are or are'nt going to happen. My point is put your money where your mouth is and BS runs a marathon.

Think for a second if you were the organiser and you had less than half the entrants paid up for the day and your responsible for the costs of those who don't turn up and have had 4 months notice and then bail how do you think your feeling a bit lighter in the back pocket and this is what I'm trying to stress. You as a entrant can pull out whenever but then its back on you or whoevers running the event to put up the extra cost.

You get my point now simple really hence why I think the lack of response is BS..

I'm pretty dam keen to get some more track time again, its been a while, any objections to a Subaru joining in for the days festivities.

Will have to see if i can get work off for the weekend. It will be tough as its a crucial one for us on the current project though.

Let me know.
