Welder wanted for decent cash!!

Postby Mike- » Sun Sep 30, 2007 8:21 pm

ive got some rust in the boot of my ke70 wagon which needs repairing, and it looks to me as if the easiest option is to cut the rusty section out, and replace it with a piece out of another ke70 wagon which is rust free but not roadworthy.

i dont have a welder and wouldnt know how to weld anyway, if anyone on here wants some easy money and wants to help me out that would be awesome as id like to get this car roadworthy in time for christmas.

ps i got a quote from a panelbeater which i thought was pretty excessive so now im trying here.

reply here or pm me

it was rustier than this in my memory so maybe a cut and paste isnt the easiest option and a repair would be cheaper?

lol, only if i cant get it done properly,

just remembered the radiator support panel is shot, and WILL need to be replaced, i have another one of these rust free, so if anyone wants to just do this, (im assuming its easier than the boot) then thats fine.
