Just like last week one way traffic with the shoe being on Ferrari's foot this week.I'm lovin Spa as a track its got some unbelievable corners so fast and the race was done and dusted in 1 hour and 20 odd minutes.A 4.5 mile lap man that has to be one of the longest tracks on the calendar.
I tried to watch the V8 supercars after but found out while trying to watch that they were going at Grandma speeds in comparison and soon nodded off into a deep sleep..... :D

Drivers championship has closed up a little but its still Alonso and Hamiltons championship to lose I believe Raikkonen is in a position to do something but only if the Mclaren tandem slip up though.

Looks like McLaren won't be appealing. Mad Max has been waving the big stick of harsher penalties and we all know how (un)fair the FIA can be. :evil:

I saw in the Dom/Post this morning that Mad Max said that Ron Dennis lied to his face over this whole affair about the e-mails and what not.

I would believe Ron Dennis over Mad Max any day of the week. He has more integrity in his little finger than Max has in his whole body.

Hey Revvy Mclaren look the goods this weekend both cars on the front of the grid.But apparently Raikkonen is quitely confident in 3rd about Ferrari's overall race pace.If both Mclaren's get a 1,2 that should sow up the drivers championship for Alonso or Hamilton.

yeah they are quite close.
Q1 all four were like 4 1000ths apart at one stage i think.

yeah kimi is a long shot, a macca win would seal it.
but as i mentioned, with the way alonso/hamilton have been carrying on its not out of the question that they take each other out, then if kimi wins its 3 drivers within 4 points with 2 races to go....

Personally I can't see them taking one another out and if Kimi can't make an impression in the first couple of laps I think it will be all she wrote.With the Mclaren situation and the driver's championship I think common sense will prevail between Alonso and Hamilton and will end up a two horse race going down to the last couple of races.

I don't see how Alonso after what has come out still being a part of Mclaren next season.If your own team boss dobs you in and you are using the Ferrari's technical info as a tool to get your own way man if he's still at Mclaren next year I'll be very surprised.

yeah it was mad
they fuelled massa.
they had him pit so kimi could pass without them falling foul of the rules. ie team orders.

i was gutted when it started under safety, wa ssuch an anticlimax to the excitement id felt building all week.... but turned out it was a bloody good race.

this season has been rather intense!

yea probably, must be hard to restrain yourself when you have a mic shoved in your face not long after the incident and all you really want to do is go punch Vettel in the face.

I kinda feel sorry for that Seb. Vettel he was driving the race of his life and it came to an end like that.

How's that main straight in the wet if your the 1st two cars down the straight your alright but good luck to the rest because you could'nt see sh*t at 205 mph yeah now thats bulls driving for almost a mile not seeing sh*t and at those speeds two words BALLS OUT.

As for the race a bit predictable but Hamilton is looking good to be the next World Champ and I reckon its good-bye to Alonso from Mclaren.

Toyota still need a good development driver, though I guess that's now Trulli's main role.

I would think there's a high probability of a Japanese driver being signed :evil: but this is the silly season, so who knows.

Interesting last two races. Hamilton needs 9 more points to win th WDC. Assuming Alonso wins the next two races, eight would see him even on points but lose in a count back of GPs won.

So the scenario is that, if Hamilton beats Alonso, or scores only one less point in either of the next two races, he wins the championship. Any worse result it goes down to the last race.

Assuming Alsono wins the next race and Hamiltom places;

2nd - Hamilton must come 8th in the last race
3rd - 6th
4th - 5th
5th - 4th
6th - 3rd
7th - 2nd
8th - 2nd
9th-> Must win.
