His rear tires were bald, literally down to the canvas.

He was coming into the pits for new tires, overshot the pit entry and got stuck in the kitty litter.

Oh my god how crap are Toyota going in this championship seriously I'm seeing teams like Spyker Torro Rosso Honda even doing better.I seriously don't no what there doing but they are like a alcoholic just pissing all there money up against the wall.I actually about 6 weeks ago thought they were making progress but the last 3 GPs they have been rubbish.

I hear Alonso is just resigned with Renault for 3 years.

Bugger I wonder who Toyota going to get now maybe one of the GP2 Rookies but I can only see more heart-break for Toyota next year.

Its a shame its no longer racing anymore! its more about politics these days!

Hamilton has brought some excitment back to it thats for sure.

The last race is bound to be a good one! Probably end up a disaster though haha

I sense the work of Mad Max at play in this one... wonder how easy it would be to have a quiet word in a mechanics ear... "just cross thread the wheel nut on the last stop if Lewis is winning" ;)

Sure wil be interesting.
But why give just those two seperate FIA officals, why not Ferrari too since they can challenge for the championship? I wouldn't put it past Ferrari to have Massa play a few tricks to keep Rakkionen in the lead if he's ahead of Alonso & Hamilton
Ending up with spare parts in assembling things since 1983

If you read the article it states that a steward is appointed to ensure a fair competition between the McLaren drivers.
This is quite reasonable. Sad, yes. But reasonable.

The FIA is charged with ensuring a fair and equittable competition - even within the same team.

There is suspicion that Alonso's tyre pressures were tampered with previously and of course there's that all important #1 label to be carried through 2008.
With Alonso leaving after this event McLaren have a vested interest in seeing Hamilton win through.

Its the top of the 9th the scores are almost tied,I'm really looking foward to this weekend should be a bit of a cliff hanger.I'm expecting Ferrari to hang it all out in this race, they have nothing to lose.I wonder what role Fellipe Massa has to play this weekend. The plot thickens. :)

It's Lewis Hamilton's championship to lose. If he plays it safe and doesn't try to be a hero he will be WDC. If he let's his ego get the better of him anything can, and probably will, happen.

What an end to the season! Especially Ferrari & Raikkonen coming from behind. It's always good to see a title go to the wire.

It however is typical of this season that the drivers championship may hang on the balance of the investigation into fuel irregularities within the two BMW's and Rosberg's Williams!

If Kimi Lose's the championship mover that that will be truly tragic. Amazing the difference expernce makes in the pressure situation, as could be seen with Massa, Alonso and Kimi, Hamilton truly Wilted but his time will some bring on 2008 and lets hope its even closer

i wouldn't consider the car shi!!ing itself 'wilting' as you put it.
unsure about the three pit strategy, though.
