Pulley Pullers

Postby ollieboy » Tue Oct 09, 2007 9:04 pm

I've got this pulley puller at home, its the hub type but it doesnt seem to be working, it won't fit on my pulley. What I am wondering is are there different sized pullers or am I probably doing it wrong? I'm just guessing how to use it by a few pictures because it doesnt have any instructions.

Cheers

What pully on what? I assuming it's a crank pully, and by the sounds of it you've got the wrong kind of puller.

If you get one from supercheap, it's cheaper and you get more sizes.
And if your going to bring up quality, it hasn't let me down to date, and I've used it a fair bit.

By screwing the bolts into the holes on the pulley and then screwing the big bolt thing through the middle. I only had a short go at it as I got called into work while I was doing it. Will have another go tomorrow.
