This is the amendment you want to read:

http://www.motorsport.org.nz/Pdf/Manual ... 033025.pdf

As the sprint event is classed as a Sch C Clubsport Basic event then you should be able to run your non-homologated roll-cage. However you will be unable to take passengers.

Hey mate so is ok for both events on sunday ?
New to all this and just trying not to have to remove anything on the day hehe.

ok, i decided that i wasnt going to do that
after there was no stand out long distance attendee, i gave the $50 to blackmk3 for his awesome efforts.
killed the box in his MA70 (yes box! not headgasket! :P ) drove to taupo to get a replacment while pelo pulled the old box out, refitted new box, carried on with the weekend.
if the reast of TS was half as dedicated as you we'd be taking over the world!

So I'd just like to say thanks:

Thank you Sam, Tristan and Clint for all the effort you guys put in making the weekend happen. No way I could have swung it without your input.

Thank you Mac @ Fortyone, for coughing up to cover the day membership fees at such short notice...you definately saved my arse from grumpy people!

Thank you Christy @ Smits Group aka Meguiars for the excellent products we've given away.

Thank you Kevin from Rutherford & Bond...your contribution made the weekend that much easier financially for those who came from out of town to come play.

Thanks Toyota NZ for donating the massive prizes we've had to give away, as well as the shirts for every entrant (That was a nice unexpected touch!)

Thank you Ian at Appco Auto Parts for letting me skive off and organise TS stuff instead of working, as well as giving us products to hand out.

Thank you Julian from Manawatu Car Club who sacrificed his day off to run a day for a bunch of Toyota crazy people. As well as sticking your neck out and not following the rules to the T.

Also thank you to Rodney and Phil @ Roskilda Autos for coming out and letting us run amok in the workshop the morning after Rodney's surprise birthday party

Last but most definately not least - a massive thanks to all of you who came along for the weekend. These sort of events are only as successful as the people who come along make them, and I know I had a bloody good time!
