Oh come on where's the fun in that? ;) Don't worry I'll get it, there are quite a few clips and naturally I find the ones I win a bit more interesting but I am getting there. Probably won't be today.

i recorded like 80 races on dvd  but my computer is too slow to run our editing software and keeps crashing so i cant be bothered converting it into mpeg.

if anybody has the time and inclination and competent computer then you're free to take the baby dvd and have your way with it. its mostly 4wd turbo and 2wd turbo as i was watching those classes and ghoing to the pits to catch up with the boys after their runs.

Do you have any decent runs of mine? If so, I might be able to do something :D

Here are the few I got off the DVD my mate took:

R33 Sedan vs Turbo Mirage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkSITVteD6A

A couple of fairly rapid FWD Turbo Mirages: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueCCTNRvdxU

My some of my races in my R33 (naturally the majority I have are mine  )

vs an R32 GTSt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BaedJutZx4

vs a Series 7 RX7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teqyE-B42BQ

How fast can a pretty much stock Blacktop run down the quarter?
With car weights aside, how fast?
Cakky, you taken your Corolla down the strip?

I've done many 14.9's with a blacktop at Masterton in an AE111 Levin

is that quick for a standard blacktop??

Ive always thought blacktops were low-mid 15's
So breaking into 14 secs i imagine to be fairly moving

Have a looky in the general discussion section to see what people do with black/silver tops and what mods they done to do it.
Mostly they get off the line not to badly in standard form and then just got to know when to change :). !st time out there you should probably aim for 15.3 and then improve from that

no kidding looked like you were catching up quick ! nice runs and cool race ! any ideas and theories on the track surface ? just wondering what happens out there. track was ok on the first two passes during practice and then it got slippery for me the rest of the day ? one would think it would get better ?

Hometown knowledge here :D The track is generally at its best from around 1-2.30 ish. I was running my best times around then as well. I found it pretty consistent throughout the day so duno whats up there.
Sunday the track started to get stupidly sticky near the end of the day after the comp cars had layed down some rubber.

Glad you found that too - I was wondering what was up there and thought it might have just been me. To me I thought it felt reasonably good in the morning but towards the end I was getting fairly skatey. Learnt quite a bit of my first day out there, roll on Dec :)
