ae111 blacktop missing???

Postby devius » Fri Nov 30, 2007 5:40 pm

i have a 1996 ae111 blacktop 4age levin

i am having missing issues, not all the time but enough to be annoying,
start accelerating and then put my foot dont and it misses/hessitates and then takes off.

about 2-3 months ago i replaced the spark plugs and rocker cover gasket.

about 2 weeks ago i got an oil catch can fitted.

about a week ago i got my cat removed and a new apexi n1 end muffler put on.

any thoughts?

check the resistance of the leads.
I had the same problem with my old 4age, replaced the cap and leads and was sweet.
I'm not saying thats the problem with yours but could be a possibility.

is the hesitation always in the same rev range? or does it happen what ever revs you are doing at the time?
