The point is, car was 'available' in 7-10 days so my parents sold their car, now they have 3 months with only one car.
If the dealer had told them "yeah you can have one, but it will be 3 months", they would not have sold their car.

new corolla customers are not the same type that buy an import skyline.....

It will never be the case, i was merely pointing out the situation would have been avoided if such a system was in place.
