Wait until they kill somebody, or get their track licence taken off them. Then suddenly they will care.

Exactly why Manfeild stopped doing their open days the way they did, someone was bound to get killed. I remember all sorts of morons out there possibly even myself in the RX7...
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

It depends on whether the organisers are running under a MSN permit or not, or if they still have that system. Years ago there was a lot talk about all track events being made to run under MSN(MANZ back then) permits.

If they are running with no permits they can specify their own regulations, if you don't like it don't run.

They are quite strict at Manfield now as I tried to do a test day on the Friday a few months ago and unfortuntely was told that my car was'nt fully gaged so I could'nt do it I was gutted because it was a long way to come to watch but never mind I won't make that mistake again.

Yeah those old skool open-days at Manfield were the wild west though they did use the 4.5 Km track with the extension there were upto 30-35 cars on the track at one time it was good fun and there was alot of overtaking but safety was really a after thought.I really was surprised how long they got way with it as this was my intro to track-day fun I went to these for at least 3 years.Pay $10 for 10-15 minute heats, man those were the days..... 8O
