Just because it plugs in that doesn't mean that the wiring at each plug is the same.

Have you compared the two wiring diagrams?

Sounds like a worthy project.
Be patient, work your way through every little connection and recheck all your presumptions about what wire goes to where.
There is a chance that you can get a code out of the computer that might give a clue as to the problem.

Is there a signal going to the ignitor?
Are all the plugs plugged in!
Make sure the ignitor is earthed - some toyota ignitors won't work if not earthed (don't know why)

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

It has started, was running fine then it suddenly started running ruff, like its running on 3cl however iv checked all the plugs and changed them, changed the leades, and then pulled out the injector plugs 1 by 1 and the idal droped every time i pulled a plug so its getting fuell and a spark into the clinders so y wouldnt it run right...... especially sinc it was before, i fixed an oil leak and then it just started running like it

could it be the coil or dissy or igniter... perhaps a weak spark?

Please send me your knowledge, thanks,

Rob
