Also I don't understand the single turbo setup, it looks like only one bank is feeding the exhaust wheel? So with that big turbo with basically a 2L it'd be pretty laggy yeah?

Cool none the less.

But still not as cool as the mint 1uz conversion I saw In a JZA80 manual supra on the weekend. THAT was a clean conversion 8)

I dunno, the all alloyness of a 1UZ would be in favour, surely it wouldn't be far off a 4G63 as far as weight goes?

My favourite thing = the bodywork. Factory colour respray, and the way the factory black rub strips have been moulded into the panels looks amazing IMO. Subtley wicked.

wow you should become a warrant guy - same sort of response i get from them
the 'MOD' after the engine make signifies it's modified, bit silly imo it doesn't describe in more detail i guess this is because in the old days all mods were invisible i.e compression pistons etc.

Maybe Leon can enlighten us?

He brings up a good point though, the cert plate in my ae86 with 4agze conversion says either "supercharger" or "Forced Induction" not just fuel injected...can't remember which it is right now.

Kind of weird though, what has fuel injection got to do with the induction type anyway?

I'll have to have a look at the cert plate on my gtz turbo for comparison.

Maybe it has to do with running high pressure fuel lines?

Unfortunately there is very little consistency in how cert plates are filled out so theres no reason it's not legit.

However if I was considering buying it, it's definitely something I'd check out

Yeah but it's straight, had everything done to it, to do all that and get it up to that standard like it is now would probably cost you something not far off that and there's been alot of time and effort gone in to it obviously.

Yup, you probably wouldn't be able to build it for that.......but then again, why the hell would you want to

Because it's different to a dx-rotor, ex-starion, RWD toyota-4AGZE conversion.
I haven't seen it done before, especially with the turbo hanging off the side. Different is good.

a mate got stickered for not having his car cert'd for turbo, afta all the hassle he finds out that it is in-face cert'd (only bought it a couple months ago) but only had FUEL INJ listed and turbo wasn't printed on the plate, got a free reprint which now clearly states turbo. bloody yankees :)

I was trying to think of something weak about the 4g63... but I couldn't think of one.*
